themolks in 2008 (so far)...
Wow, how Luke and Lily are both growing, and how good an eye does Michelle have as a nature photographer! Oh, and themolk plays XBOX with Luke now. ;) Enjoy...

More of Luke and Lily!
We realised we hadn't put any updated photos o Luke & Lily up since May 2007... probably time we did. There's a few in this gallery, right up to and including Christmas 2007 - enjoy!
Life of Luke and Lily in April and May!
PHEW! There'd been a lot happening in the first few months of Lily's life, as you can see here... Luke trying to feed her(!), Luke eating, Lily laying somewhere, Luke eating, Luke's birthday, Luke eating, Daddy's new motorbike, Luke eating, Dave & Von's wedding, Luke eating, Luke and Lily showing just how much they love each other, a new fish tank... it's flat out just trying to keep up with the both of them...!!!
Our new fish tank
It's been a while coming, but here she is... the long awaited 6ft tank that we have wanted for what seems like ever!... Follow the progress through the gallery as the 4ft tank is decommissioned and the new one put in its place! The final shots include Michelle's Mothers Day presents of some more fish and some plant and other miscellaneous tank additions.
Growing up Luke & Lily
Some of the latest shots of Luke and Lily, including some with Grandma and Grandad Alais!
Welcome Home Lily!
Well, my friends, the time has come... raise the roof and have some fun...
Lionel Ritchie in my brain courtesy the new ad for Jupiters Casino. Anyway, here is the first batch of pics of Lily at the hospital and her homecoming - fun for everyone (all night long...)!!!
More of Luke
Here is the latest shots of our little man, becoming ever-so independent. As you can see, whether it is gardening, cleaning, or making noise, he wants to be involved. Look out if you suggest he can't do something or he needs a hand... he can do it all himself (apparently!)
The Garden of Stephen... and Michelle and Luke...
Here they finally are - all the pics on the process that was getting our garden built. Troy from Springfield Landscapes and his team did SUCH a good job... we are so happy... Hope you get the chance to pop by and enjoy it with us in person sometime soon!
Richard & Emily's Wedding
First weekend in October was a big one for Luke because it was a big one for our friends Richard & Emily - they got married (obviously, in Pic #1)
Pic #2 has Emily & Michelle posing - Emily was Michelle's Maid of Honour when we were married.
Pic #3 is a rose bush in the rose garden in the grounds of the place that Emily & Richard were married - Michelle took this lovely shot.
Cats doing whatever they want...
Molly has been with Michelle for some time... and she (and I) have learnt that while she may be a bit skittish sometimes, and wary of strangers, she'll always find the best place to sleep. ;)
Gerry Alais's belated 80th birthday
Well, it finally happened, and a lot of fun was had by all. Gerry turned 80, and once we got David & Corinne back from France we had the chance to celebrate - the first time all the Alais kids were together for a LONG time, and now with added families all round!
Photo #1 shows the family all grown up (l-r) - David Alais, Alison Lemon, Maureen Alais, Gerry Alais, Michelle Molkentin, Stephen Alais.
Photo #2 has Grandma and Grandad Alais with all but one grandkid (l-r) - Grandma, Philippe, Grandad, Hugo, Sophie, Margot, Jacob (Luke elsewhere - stroller maybe?!).
Photo #3 has got the action at the bar with Jacob, Margot, Hugo and Sophie.
Photo #4 has themolk chatting with Corinne Alais (David's wife) during the course of the luncheon.
Michelle's Space Shuttle
Ok, so call me cynical, but I don't think it is... but I am not going to discount it. Michelle and I saw this thing in the sky, and Michelle took a photo of it. We're not sure what it is, but given it's timing it *could* be the Space Shuttle...but I'm not going to make that call.
Davey & Gilly's brief visit
It was (too) short, and sweet - but it was still good to see our old friends David & Gillian Stuart when they popped into Queensland. Uncle Davey & Gilly were having a break between flying up to Cairns to spend time with Davey's sister.
They don't come up often enough...
Photo #1 shows Gilly, Davey & themolk all smiles and stuff.
Photo #2 shows Davey with a shot of some kids that's bigger than him (dunno why?!).
The Molkentin Family
This is the state of play of (my part) of the Molky family at our family reunion in September 2004. You can see, we aren't short of a feed.
The Molkentin family reunion was held the weekend of 17-19 September, 2004, to co-incide with Grandma Molkentin's 84th birthday.
